In Frisco City, Texas, where Jennifer Achu now resides, August 1st was officially proclaimed as “Jennifer Achu Day.”
This proclamation, which was made by the Mayor of Frisco during a city council meeting, reflects the deep appreciation the community holds for Jennifer’s contributions. Mayor Jeff Cheney’s proclamation calls upon all citizens of Frisco to “do their share to make a difference” in the community, a message that Jennifer Achu has wholeheartedly embraced.
Jennifer Achu actively contributes to various causes, both locally and internationally, holding positions such as the Frisco Inclusion Committee Ambassador, a member of the City of Frisco Urban Forestry Board, and an advisory board member of the Frisco Education Foundation.
Her commitment to empowerment extends to her dedication to young girls. She is the founder of the Miss Africa Texas Scholarship Pageant, an initiative that has provided multiple scholarships to young women in Texas for over a decade. Now, she has completed the second version of her book, a testament to her ongoing dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
